Jenny Ruan

Jenny Ruan is an experienced lawyer in the areas of corporate, commercial, real estate, and wills and estates law. She is dedicated to providing her clients with tailored, strategic legal solutions that address their unique needs and objectives.

In her corporate and commercial practice, Jenny advises clients on incorporations, business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, secured lending transactions, and commercial leasing. In real estate, Jenny has represented clients in the purchase, sale, and financing of residential and commercial properties.  Jenny also has experience in estate planning and administration. She assists clients with drafting of wills, insurance declarations, and trust agreements, and she guides executors through the probate and estate administration process.

Jenny is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese, enabling her to serve a diverse clientele and communicate effectively with clients from various cultural backgrounds. 

During her studies at the University of British Columbia, Jenny was actively involved in Pro Bono Students Canada, where she contributed to projects at the Canadian Centre for Elder Law, focusing on developing resources to prevent elder abuse in ethno-minority communities. She also supported Justice for Girls, advocating on behalf of girls living in poverty.
